trenches, gas lines and drains, oh my!

This mid-century beach house featured some lovely original cast iron and clay pipes we could not wait to upgrade. 

Arranging utility improvements to the main house at the same time as install for our addition was a huge time saver, however there was still a nice stretch of time with lots and lots of shoveling.

Introducing bobcats and backhoes to the project was a major blessing, especially after seeing a shovel wear out. I didn't know that was possible!
